Spring

Spring

From the first daffodil bulb that peeks its head out of the ground, to the blousy roses that appear in early June, Spring in the garden is one thrill after another. In the kitchen, fresh greens beckon. I hear the siren song of the strawberry. I begin to dream of sending my knife through a crisp stalk of rhubarb, and then stirring the little pink pieces into my favorite muffin batter. Spring is the perfect time to fall in love with cooking.
